World Down Syndrome Day is March 21. We are excited to share with you the efforts of the International Down Syndrome Coalition. The IDSC is based out of Memphis, TN. We are so thrilled to announce our plans to include the Memphis community in our World Down Syndrome Day events.
We will be hosting an event, on March 23, 2013, from 4-7, at Christian Brothers University, in the Thomas Center. We will have a program highlighting the many things that individuals with Down syndrome can do, and having an exclusive showing of the IDSC WDSD 2013 video. We will also be featuring Company d, who will be dancing the song “Who I Am” by Sarah Conant, which is featured in this years’ WDSD video.
Humdingers and Moe’s restaurants will be serving light refreshments.
The event is free to the public.
